Refund & Cancellation Policy

Plain-English terms: what is refundable, the exact time windows, and how to request a cancellation or reschedule.

Payment Confirmation

We accept Visa and Mastercard, charged in UAE Dirhams (AED). There is no extra card fee for booking — the price you see for your tour is the price you pay. Full payment is required to reserve your seats: a secure online advance payment confirms your booking.

  • The charge on your card statement will appear as Safari Desert Dubai.
  • You will receive your booking confirmation by email within 48 hours of payment.
  • If anything on your confirmation looks wrong, email us straight away at [email protected].

Refund Policy

  • Once a tour has commenced, no refund is available for that tour or for any services already utilized.
  • Refunds are issued only to the original payment method used at booking.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 30 days.

If We Cancel a Tour

Occasionally we have to cancel for reasons outside anyone's control — most often weather. If Safari Desert Dubai cancels your tour, you choose between:

  • A full refund to your original payment method, or
  • A free reschedule to another date, subject to availability.

Hot air balloon flights are weather-dependent by nature: the pilot makes the final call on the morning of the flight, and a weather cancellation always qualifies for the options above.

Non-Group Bookings Cancellation Policy

The following windows apply to standard bookings (up to 3 guests in one booking). Cancellation requests must be sent by email — see how to cancel below.

  • 96 hours or more before your tour: full refund, no cancellation fee.
  • Between 24 and 96 hours before your tour: 50% cancellation fee.
  • Less than 24 hours before your tour (or no-show): 100% cancellation fee — no refund.

Group Bookings (4+ Guests in a Single Booking)

  • 7 days or more before the tour: 50% cancellation fee.
  • 5 days or less before the tour: 100% cancellation fee — no refund.
  • Approved group refunds are completed within the same 30-day window.

Rescheduling Your Tour

Rescheduling is free, subject to availability. The earlier you ask, the more dates we can offer — email us with your booking name and preferred new date and we will confirm the switch.

How to Request a Cancellation or Change

Cancellations and changes are accepted by email only, to [email protected]. Include:

  • The name the booking was made under
  • The tour name and tour date
  • Whether you want to cancel or reschedule

Your cancellation is considered received at the time your email arrives in our inbox — that timestamp decides which fee window applies. Please wait for our written confirmation before treating the booking as cancelled.
